  • Profile Information: When you set up your profile, you provide a nickname and select a personality preference. We do not require your real name, email address, or phone number.
  • Chat Messages: Messages you send to the AI chatbot are processed to generate responses. These messages are stored locally on your device.
  • Reminders: Reminders you create (manually or AI-generated) are stored locally on your device.
  • Settings: Your preferences such as language, voice style, and notification settings are stored locally on your device.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: We may collect general device information such as device type and operating system version for app compatibility purposes.
  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics such as feature usage frequency to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Real names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Location data
  • Photos, contacts, or files from your device
  • Payment or financial information
  • Health or biometric data

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (AI chat, reminders, tasks)
  • Generate personalized AI responses based on your conversations
  • Improve and optimize the App experience
  • Send you local notifications (reminders and check-ins) that you have opted into

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: All personal data (profile, chat history, reminders, settings) is stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite databases and SharedPreferences.
  • AI Processing: Chat messages are sent to our AI service provider for generating responses. These messages are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on external servers.
  • Privacy Mode: The App includes a Privacy Mode feature that, when enabled, prevents conversation data from being used for AI learning or improvement.
  • No Cloud Sync: We do not sync your data to cloud servers. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • AI Language Model Service: We use a third-party AI service to process your chat messages and generate responses. Messages are sent securely and are not permanently stored by the service provider.
  • Text-to-Speech: The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine for voice features. No audio data is sent to external servers.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

6. Children's Privacy

AI Daddy is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require any personally identifiable information to function. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove such information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: All your data is stored locally on your device and can be viewed within the App.
  • Deletion: You can delete your chat history, memories, and profile data at any time through the App's Settings. Uninstalling the App removes all data.
  • Notifications: You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the App's Settings or through your device's system settings.
  • Privacy Mode: You can enable Privacy Mode to prevent your conversations from being used for AI improvements.

8. Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device and retained as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, all data is permanently deleted. You can also manually clear your data at any time through the App's Settings (Clear Chat, Wipe Memory, Reset Profile).

9. International Users

AI Daddy is available in 14 languages and can be used worldwide. As your data is stored locally on your device, it remains in your jurisdiction. Chat messages sent for AI processing may be transmitted to servers located in different countries, but are not permanently stored.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
